Meet our Tennis Professional, William Huntington. As the Director of Tennis at Grand Hotel, William is a PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) Professional and USPTA (U.S. Professional Tennis Association) member. He has enjoyed teaching and playing Tennis competitively since a very young age. He is currently attending Ferris State University where he will graduate with a business and marketing degree in Professional Tennis Management. Join him this summer at Grand Hotel as he teaches visitors and guests what he loves to do most – play Tennis.

The Grand Hotel tennis program includes private lessons and daily clinics. The clinics are designed for both juniors and adults Monday - Friday. Click here for a schedule and pricing.

In addition to a variety of different programs he also offers a fun cardio workout called Cardio Tennis. Come have fun and get a great workout at 7am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Cost is $15 a person and is located at the Grand Hotel Tennis Courts.

All clinics and programs are located on Grand Hotel's Four Har Tru based clay courts overlooking the Straits of Mackinac. Rental equipment and a pro shop are also available.

Exercise Facilities

A complete exercise facility is located adjacent to the swimming pool. Changing rooms and showers are available.

Vita Course

The Vita Course is a half-mile outdoor exercise course on the hotel grounds. Along the jogging trail, exercise stations are designed to challenge and motivate.
