Join us for a weekend getaway during the annual Mackinac Island Lilac Festival, a cherished tradition that celebrates the beauty, fragrance, and history of the island’s most iconic bloom.
Since its debut in 1948, this 10-day festival has blossomed into one of Michigan’s most anticipated summer events, honoring lilacs that have flourished on the island for more than two centuries. Each June, the island transforms into a living tapestry of color and scent, welcoming visitors to revel in the charm of lilac-inspired garden tours, art exhibits, live music, and the Lilac Festival Grand Parade on Sunday, featuring horse-drawn floats, marching bands, the Lilac Queen and Court, and more!
