Lilac Festival and Lilac Festival Weekend
Each June, the island is filled with fragrant blooms and festive moments during the annual Mackinac Island Lilac Festival.

Lilac Festival Package
Friday, June 5 – Monday, June 15
Experience the beauty and charm of Mackinac Island during the annual Mackinac Island Lilac Festival and choose your stay during a ten-day event filled with vibrant blooms, live music, art exhibits, garden tours, and the Lilac Festival Grand Parade, all honoring the island’s beloved lilacs and rich traditions.
Lilac Festival Weekend Package
Saturday, June 13 – Monday, June 15
Perfect for a shorter escape, this weekend experience captures the heart of the Lilac Festival with garden tours, festive activities, and a front-row seat to the Grand Parade, all paired with Grand Hotel’s classic elegance.
Labor Day Weekend Experience
Grand Hotel’s Labor Day Weekend Experience September 4 – 7 offers the perfect close to summer, with spirited festivities, lawn games, and serene Front Porch evenings that capture the island’s enduring charm.
Somewhere in Time
For fans of classic cinema, the Somewhere in Time Weekend package Oct. 2 – 4 brings the magic of the beloved story to life with immersive experiences, elegant dinners, and opportunities to create your own moments of nostalgia.
