Meet our new Tennis Professional, Cole Heule. As the Director of Tennis at Grand Hotel, Cole is a PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) Professional and will be certified as a USPTA (U.S. Professional Tennis Association) member next spring. Cole is a senior at Ferris State University from which he will graduate with a business degree in Professional Tennis Management with a concentration in marketing. He serves as the President of the Club Tennis team at the university, a team that competes against other highly-ranked schools throughout the nation. He is excited to meet and teach many different people this summer on Mackinac Island!
Cole will be providing many different types of tennis and pickle ball lessons (including individual or group). The Grand Hotel tennis program includes private lessons and daily clinics. The clinics are designed for both juniors and adults Monday – Friday.
All clinics and programs are located on Grand Hotel’s Four Har Tru based clay courts overlooking the Straits of Mackinac. Rental equipment and a pro shop are also available.
Pickleball NEW this year! Grand Hotel has the only clay pickle ball court in Michigan. Cole Heule will be providing guidance and instruction on how to play for newcomers and pickle ball pros alike. A complete exercise facility is located adjacent to the swimming pool. Changing rooms and showers are available.
The Vita Course is a half-mile outdoor exercise course on the hotel grounds. Along the jogging trail, exercise stations are designed to challenge and motivate.
