The Esther Williams Swimming Pool is closed for the season. The sauna and whirlpools are open between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The Esther Williams Swimming Pool is named after the actress and competitive swimmer who starred in the 1947 movie This Time for Keeps, filmed at Grand Hotel. The 220-foot-long, serpentine-shaped pool is a popular gathering place for the entire family.

Cool off and take a swim or relax on a lounge chair overlooking the pool and the Straits of Mackinac. Also enjoy our sauna and two whirlpools on the pool deck. Kids will have fun with pool toys and complimentary snow cones. Adults can enjoy poolside food and beverage service from the Pool Grill, open seasonally. Life jackets are also available.
Please know non-guests of Grand Hotel may purchase a pass to access the pool. The swimming pool is intended for guests of Grand Hotel only. Non-guest passes are subject to availability and there are dates non-guests are permitted.
