    Woodfill Conference Center

Welcome to America’s Meeting Place. Grand Hotel’s Woodfill Conference Center offers one-of-a-kind facilities for a truly unique and sophisticated meeting experience. Host to presidents, governors, and some of the world’s most powerful business leaders, the two-story, 16,000-square-foot space combines Victorian-era elegance and ambiance with state-of-the-art convention amenities.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout our conference center, as well as the hotel and resort grounds. Computer workstations are available near the Theatre, and copying, faxing, and scanning services can be found at the executive offices. The Business Center is also conveniently located within the hotel and offers guests another workspace with multiple computers, Wi-Fi, and a wireless printer and scanner.

From large private conferences to executive retreats, the Woodfill Conference Center can meet a broad range of meeting planner needs.

Meeting Rooms and Off-Site Venues

In addition to a variety of meeting and off-site dining venues — including many outdoor options — Woodfill Conference Center has six meeting rooms all under one roof, with the Art Gallery serving as the entrance (perfect for registration and vendors).

  • The Theatre – Smaller meeting rooms surround the Theatre, Grand Hotel’s largest and most flexible space. The Theatre is designed to host large sessions, dinner banquets (seating up to 500), receptions and live performances.
  • Brighton Pavilion and Headquarters of The Capitol Club – Great rooms for board meetings, breakout sessions, and exhibits.
  • The Terrace Room – Creates a regal, intimate setting for meetings, cocktail receptions, and private breakfasts and lunches. It also is the location for nightly live music by the Grand Hotel Orchestra.
  • The Gerald R. Ford Conference Room is ideal for smaller meetings, breakout sessions and speaker preparation.
  • Straits of Mackinac – The similarly sized Straits of Mackinac is a convenient space for small meetings and breakout sessions.
