Grand Hotel Recognized With Condé Nast Traveler’s 2019 Readers’ Choice Award “#1 Resort In Midwest”

(Mackinac Island, Mich.) Oct. 9, 2019 – Condé Nast Traveler today announced the results of its 32nd annual Readers’ Choice Awards with Mackinac Island’s historic Grand Hotel recognized as the #1 Resort in the Midwest.

More than 600,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the globe submitted a recording-breaking number of responses rating their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.” The full list of winners can be found here.

Grand Hotel is located on Mackinac Island, Michigan, where there are no motorized vehicles and the island is only accessible by ferry or airplane. The hotel is open from the first weekend in May through the end of October. The 397-room hotel is third-generation family-owned, a National Historic Landmark, and a proud member of Historic Hotels of America. Reservations for the 2020 season at Grand Hotel will be available beginning the week of Nov. 1st for the season running May through October.
