The complimentary services of your personal convention manager will ensure that all the details are taken care of so both planners and attendees have an unforgettable experience. There is no additional charge, in most cases, for the use of the meeting rooms, any in-house audio visual equipment, and coffee breaks.

Personal Convention Manager

Every group receives the personal attention of a convention manager to help with all of the planning details leading up to your event. Your personal convention manager will assist with transportation and island logistics, meeting room selection, food and beverage, guest room reservations and more. Grand Hotel does not have an A/V technician on staff so we can also recommend A/V companies familiar with Grand Hotel and Mackinac Island.

From simple to elaborate, Grand Hotel provides a variety of unique indoor and outdoor locations for meals and cocktail receptions. Our most popular group rate is the Modified American Plan, which includes dinner in Grand Hotel’s Main Dining Room. We also have a number of more casual off-site restaurants that are unique for lunch and dinner. There are numerous activities available at Grand Hotel and around Mackinac Island for meeting attendees to take a break and have some fun. Enjoy golf on The Jewel, lawn games in the Grand Hotel Tea Garden, take a leisurely bike ride or carriage tour around the island or simply relax in a rocking chair on the world’s longest porch. Please, No Tipping

Tipping is neither expected nor permitted within Grand Hotel. This policy was established for the convenience of our guests. Instead, an added charge is applied to your daily rate. Tipping is expected at Grand Hotel’s off-site restaurants.
