East or West Front Porch

At 660 feet long, the world-famous Grand Hotel Front Porch offers a memorable location for a ceremony of up to 120 guests or a cocktail reception for up to 400 guests. Take in the garden views from East Porch (perfect for a smaller event), or enjoy views of the Straits of Mackinac from the West Front Porch.
Tea Garden

Grand Hotel’s signature garden and stone fountain are a charming backdrop for a ceremony, cocktail, reception, or meal function. Up to 400 guests can be hosted in this enchanting area.
Cupola Bar

Enjoy panoramic views of the Mackinac Bridge, Straits of Mackinac, Round Island Lighthouse, and downtown Mackinac Island from the Cupola Bar, located on the 5th and 6th floors of Grand Hotel. Cocktail receptions for up to 100 guests are ideal for this two-story, nautical-themed lounge.

Additional Rooms for Celebrations

Theatre

This delightful, spacious facility can accommodate up to 400 guests, and is wonderful for luncheons, dinners, entertainment, and dancing the night away. The existing dance floor and stage are features that allow guests to turn up the tempo and enjoy a live band or DJ after an elegant meal.
Grand Pavilion

The whimsical atmosphere of this banquet facility hosts 70 – 125 guests. This colorful room with a large dance floor is the ideal location for a live band, DJ, or an acoustic musical ensemble. Guests can step out for a breath of fresh air on the private veranda, while taking in views of The Jewel Golf Course.
Terrace Room

A breathtaking chandelier and Asian-themed décor are the backdrop for cocktail receptions, luncheons, or early dinners for 70 – 110 guests. Entertain friends and family with a live band or DJ (which can easily be accommodated on the existing stage), and take advantage of the ballroom-sized dance floor.

Off-Site Venues & Casual Dining

The Jockey Club at Grand Hotel

This equestrian-themed restaurant is conveniently located across the street from Grand Hotel, overlooking the 1st hole of our golf course. The semi-private patio is a great location for a casual reception, luncheon, or dinner for up to 50 guests. The entire restaurant can also be rented for a private event for up to 100 guests.
Woods Restaurant

Tucked in the woods of Mackinac Island, this Bavarian-themed restaurant is a charming setting for gathering of up to 110 guests. You also have the use of the Woods Patio and courtyard behind the restaurant — the perfect location for a private ceremony. Woods can accommodate a DJ, full band, or smaller music ensembles.
The Chalet at Woods

This quaint Bavarian-themed room at Woods Restaurant offers a unique dining experience for up to 30 guests. The large windows feature views of the natural environment on Mackinac Island. You also have use of the Woods Patio, ideal for an outdoor cocktail hour prior to your luncheon or dinner.
