Grand Hotel: Meetings
ASAE Annual Meeting and Exposition
Don’t miss our booth at the ASAE Annual Meeting and Exposition Saturday, August 8, 2015 through Tuesday, August 11, 2015! Annie Farrell, Grand Hotel’s Director of Sales, will be in booth #910 to answer any questions and give information about Grand Hotel in the meetings marketplace. Upon entering the hall, booth #910 will be on your right in Hall C.
From simple to elaborate, Grand Hotel will see that yours is a cocktail reception staged in the best of taste. Popular among meeting planners is an hour-long Grand Cocktail Reception offering a complete line of premium liquor, domestic beers, wine and champagne, mineral water and soft drinks. Hors d’oeuvres consist of assorted cheeses, fresh fruit, crudités, smoked lake trout, shrimp on crushed ice, and specialty hot hors d’oeuvres. Reception includes bartenders and servers and hors d’oeuvres tables beautifully appointed with tablecloths specially designed by Carleton Varney and decorated with appropriate floral arrangements. Many other reception formats are available and special arrangements can be made through your personal convention manager.
Your group may desire a banquet or private dining service in lieu of the scheduled Modified American Plan service in our Main Dining Room. For most menus, there will be no additional charge. Special entrees require a surcharge. Cookouts can also be scheduled in the Grand Hotel Tea Garden and after-hours at the Fort Mackinac Tea Room.
Personalized printed reservation forms are available without charge – one of the many services that can be performed by your personal convention manager. We will make certain an adequate supply reaches you in time for distribution to all members of your group.
Please, No Tipping
Tipping is neither expected nor permitted within Grand Hotel. This policy was established for the convenience of our guests. Instead, an added charge is applied to your daily rate. Michigan sales tax applies, as well as a baggage handling fee.
