2016 Room Rates
$148.00 Daily, per student based on quad occupancy
$239.00 Daily, per chaperone based on double occupancy
Daily Student group rate includes accommodations, a full breakfast, and five-course dinner. Rates are subject to 6% Michigan State sales tax, 2% Mackinac Island assessment fee. There is a one-time charge for round trip luggage transfer between the boat docks and Grand Hotel on day of arrival and return or day of departure. This luggage handling charge is currently $8.00 per person, and is in addition to the rates listed above.

2016 Grand Luncheon Buffet
The buffet is served daily from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in our Main Dining Room. Your student/youth group will enjoy a wide variety of salads, hot and cold selections, as well as a dessert table offering over 20 freshly baked pastries. Beverages included are milk, lemonade, iced tea, coffee, and hot tea. Reservations are required a minimum of 12 days prior to arrival for student group luncheon rates to apply:
- $22.00 per child, ages 5-11 (Elementary School)
- $27.00 per youth, ages 12-17 (Middle and High School)
- $22.00 per Girl or Boy Scout in uniform
- $35.00 per college student, ages 18 – 25 (College)
- (All luncheon rates are subject to 6% MI State sales tax)
The student/youth group luncheon rate remains in effect for accompanying adults provided the number of adults does not exceed a one to one ratio of students. Additional adults exceeding the ratio will be charged the regular adult luncheon price of $45.00 per person plus 6% MI State sales tax.
Casual resort attire is appropriate during the day at Grand Hotel, however, no tank tops, halter tops, or cut-off shorts are permitted. After 6:30 p.m., gentlemen are required to wear a coat, slacks, and necktie while ladies dress in a pantsuit, dress, or skirt.
Fort Mackinac Tea Room
Dine within the walls of historic Fort Mackinac. Serving as a sentinel in the Straits of Mackinac for over 115 years, the original restored fort is a National Historic Landmark. Admission to Fort Mackinac is required. Luncheon, served daily in the Tea Room includes salads, sandwiches, and hot food items. Enjoy breathtaking views while dining beneath the bright yellow umbrellas lining the Fort Mackinac Tea Room.
