2010 Room Rates
$140.00 Daily, per Student based on multiple occupancy, NET
$230.00 Daily, per Chaperone based on double occupancy, NET
Daily Student group rate includes accommodations, five-course dinner, full breakfast and round trip transfer of luggage from the island dock to the hotel and return. Rates are net, non-commissionable and subject to 6% Michigan State sales tax and 2% Mackinac Island assessment. Student group lodging rates are based on availability and require a minimum of 20 students. 2010 Grand Luncheon Buffet
The buffet is served daily from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in our Main Dining Room. Your student/youth group will enjoy a wide variety of salads, hot and cold selections, as well as a dessert table offering over 20 freshly baked pastries. Beverages included are milk, lemonade, iced tea, coffee, and hot tea. Reservations are required a minimum of 12 days prior to arrival for student group luncheon rates to apply:
$20.00 per child, ages 5-11
$25.00 per youth, ages 12-17
$20.00 per Girl or Boy Scout in uniform
The student/youth group luncheon rate remains in effect for accompanying adults provided the number of adults does not exceed a one to one ratio of students. Additional adults exceeding the ratio will be charged the regular adult luncheon price of $40.00 per person.
Dress Policy
Casual resort attire is appropriate during the day at Grand Hotel, however, no tank tops, halter tops, or cut-off shorts are permitted. After 6:30 p.m., gentlemen are required to wear coat and necktie while ladies dress in their finest.
Fort Mackinac Tea Room
Dine within the walls of Historic Fort Mackinac. Serving as a sentinel in the Straits of Mackinac for over 115 years, the original restored fort is a National Historic Landmark. Admission to Fort Mackinac is required. Luncheon, served daily includes salads, sandwiches, and hot food items. Enjoy breathtaking views while dining beneath the bright yellow umbrellas lining the Fort Mackinac Tea Room.
