Group Tours
At Grand Hotel, your group will enjoy hospitality and charm typical of a bygone era, complete with horse-drawn carriages, Afternoon Tea, croquet on the Tea Garden lawn, chamber music in the afternoon, and more. Each evening after 6:30 p.m., men are to dress in coat and tie, women in dress or pant suit. Ballroom dancing throughout the evening follows dinner and demitasse. At day’s end, members of your group will retire to one of our 385 uniquely decorated guest rooms.
Grand Hotel’s group rates are based on the Modified American Plan, which includes a full breakfast and five-course dinner daily; or the Full American Plan, which includes a full breakfast, Grand Luncheon Buffet and five-course dinner daily. Rates are NET, non-commissionable, and are subject to a 19.5% added charge, 2% Mackinac Island assessment and Michigan state sales tax (currently 6%). There is a “no-tipping” policy within Grand Hotel.
