Vintage Base Ball
In 2013, Grand Hotel will host a full schedule of 1860s rules baseball games. Players on teams from throughout the Midwest will wear period reproduction uniforms. No gloves are used and fair or foul balls caught on one bounce are considered outs. All games will take place in Woodfill Park near the Grand Hotel tennis courts and are free to the public.
