Family
Grand Hotel is a particularly exceptional summer vacation spot for families, many of which visit the hotel year after year. Thanks to the many activities available at the hotel and throughout the island—including Grand Hotel’s children’s programs—Travel+Leisure Family magazine has included Grand Hotel on its list of Best Hotels in North America for families and kids.
Children’s Programs
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, hotel guests five years and older can participate in Grand Hotel’s children's group programs during lunch and dinner. Activities include Duck Pin bowling at Woods restaurant, touring Grand Hotel's horse stables, croquet and bocci ball in the Tea Garden, rock collecting on the beach, playground games, and Putt-Putt Golf along with a special kids meal. Please sign up for children's programs upon check-in at Grand Hotel.
For hotel guests too young to participate in the children's programs, babysitters are available through the Housekeeping Department.
