My husband and I have been staying at the Grand Hotel for at least 12 years. Every time we visit, we have a wonderful experience at the Grand. This year we had a fantastic room, in the new area with a lake view and three windows. This was our best room ever. We can't wait to visit next year.

I listen to Family Life Radio on my way in to work. This morning they were talking about the Marriage Conference that was held at the Hotel thisweekend. One man said that he was amazed how smoothly everything went at the hotel, being that it was only open for business a few days. He said “That staff was on it.”

I spoke to Sarah at reservations and wanted to congratulate you on the job she did for my family. I intend to continue to take my family up to Mackinac every summer as a tradition, and it has become harder and harder as the economy continues to decline. We are going to be staying for five days, which we would not do without Sarah's help. Hopefully, with creative solutions and staff like Sarah, the Grand Hotel will continue to the unique experience that it is for hundreds of more years.
