The hotel was very family friendly. Some of the things we enjoyed were Rebecca's, kids bikes, swimming pool, snow cones, kid's buffet and free arcade games.

I live in California but grew up in Wisconsin. I first heard about Grand Hotel as a young child. Not many things live up to a 50-year expectation, but the Grand did. From the carriage ride up in the morning, to a croquet game in the afternoon, to strolling through the hotel at midnight, we enjoyed it all.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this past weekend. The guestrooms were absolutely spectacular, all aspects of service and dining offerings were memorable. The seed has been planted with our grandchildren to continue the tradition of returning to Grand Hotel.

What a special experience...met Dan Musser on the porch at around 6:30am while he was cleaning off a table. That is a family business. My wife and I travel a great deal, including Europe. But our visit to the Grand was up there with the best!
